Quartermaster is a SaaS product by Tortuga Labs that gives builder teams of 2-6 people project awareness without the overhead of traditional project management tools. It works as an MCP server that connects to AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex.

## What It Does

- **Team visibility**: Run `sprint` or `standup` commands to see what your team shipped in the last 7 days or 24 hours
- **Auto-complete tasks**: When you commit code, Quartermaster detects which task you were working on and marks it complete
- **Task management from IDE**: Create, assign, and prioritize tasks without leaving your editor
- **Stakeholder context**: Designers, PMs, and teammates share specs, requirements, and feedback scoped to your project — accessible from the terminal

## How It Works

1. Connect the QM remote MCP server to your IDE (Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex)
2. Set your active project
3. Code normally — commits flow to QM automatically, tasks complete themselves

- **Free**: 1 user, unlimited projects, up to 200 tasks, context from IDE, sprint and standup commands
- **Team ($9/mo flat)**: Up to 6 people, unlimited projects and tasks (fair use), context from IDE + web app, cross-project status queries, file uploads

Pricing is flat-rate per team, not per seat.
